Silverpaw awoke to darkness,as she had been for a few days now. Making sure Frostbite wasn't up, she snuck out to the clearing. The cool winds calmed her down, and she suddenly realized she hadn't been invited to the Gathering. She wondered if Glowflame would tell about her accident. She hoped not. She still wanted to be a warrior, and that wouldn't happen if she was being picked on by every cat who knew the news. A strong wind blew her off her feet, and she tumbled onto the ground into the dirt. Realized she hadn't had a good dirt roll in a while, she rolled around until her silver coat was covered in dust. Going to the fresh-kill pile, she sniffed at it dubiously, before taking a fish and crouching near the medicine cat den to eat it. Once she was full, she buried the remain of the fish and sat with her blind face to the winds. She heard a noise and stood up. The scent told her it was a RiverClan cat, not an intruder, though she couldn't make out who. "Who's there?" she called, expecting a harsh, sneering response from one of her Clanmates who thought she shouldn't have been allowed back into the camp.

- Watch my moves! - - Read my mind! - - - "Hear my voice!" WillowMist had been in the warriors den just relaxing when she had decided to go and talk with the blind Apprentice Silverpaw. Willowmist felt bad for the poor she cat, What with her being picked on all the time, And decided that she would be one of the nice cats and befriend the apprentice. With a sigh she pushed herself from the warriors den and padded over to the medicine cat's den entrance and sat down a few mouse lengths away from SilverPaw "It's me, Willowmist, I was just coming to see how you were doing" She mewed. She had never talked with the apprentice but knew her since she was just a kit, But with never talking to her she had never been mean to her, And unlike most of the other riverclan cats she thought that the apprentice, with enough work, could become a warrior, Yes, she had high hopes for young Silverpaw. She got up and walked over to the fresh kill pile and pick a small fish before going back over to where she had been sitting by Silverpaw and eating it in five small bites. Wrapping her tail around her paws willowmist licked her paw and drew it over her ears and face a few times before licking her shoulders and sides, smoothing her long grey pelt.
"Oh, hi Willowmist."Willowmist was one of the cats who never talked to her. Silverpaw got the feeling that Willowmist felt sorry for the apprentice. "Well, Frostbite says I'll live after the attack. I wonder when I can start training again?" Silverpaw mewed softly, then scoffed, "Probably never. I heard from one of my loner friends that since I'm blind, I'll never be a warrior. His name is Kurogane. I used to see him at the island sometimes. Do you know him?" Silverpaw turned her blind eyes on Willowmist. Or at least where Silverpaw thought she was. The scent was strongest from where he face was pointed, so Silverpaw thought it might be where Willowmist was. Silverpaw, who was usually very quiet and isolated ever since the accident, moved over near Willowmist and began to groom the she-cat,sharing tongues with her. "I'm fine, Willowmist. How are you today?"

- Watch my moves! - - Read my mind! - - - "Hear my voice!" Willowmist's ears twitched as Silverpaw said something about a loner friend. "No i can't say i do know him. i won't tell but if GlowFlame or any of the other cats find out they won't be pleased to hear that your friends with a loner, let alone the fact that he was on the island and you knew about it." She mewed softly as she gave the apprentice a lick between the ears before getting to her paws and stretching before witting back down. "Im good, I could be better but i can honestly say that im probably lucky to be alive since that big storm, I heard windclan lost two apprentices" She mewed, Dismissing the conversation about the loner, She couldn't say she was pleased but she would hold true to what she said and not tell. Poor silverpaw was lucky to have a good friend even if he wasn't in a clan, At least she had him to believe in her, Unlike her friends that she used to have in the clan who all practically ditched her after her incident with the fox and losing her vision.
- Watch my moves! - - Read my mind! - - - "Hear my voice!" "Really? Poor WindClan. I guess they had it worst though, what with all that open space," Silverpaw mewed. Then getting an idea, Silverpaw dashed towards the entrance to the camp, then dashed back to Willowmist. "Will you take me out? Please! I want to try hunting again!" Silverpaw begged. She looked at Willowmist with hopeful, bright eyes, hoping Willowmist would go with her. Her tail waved happily as she awaited Willowmist's answer. That is, until a strong blow of wind knocked the skinny Silverpaw onto the dusty camp floor. Scrambling up, Silverpaw still looked bright and happy, unlike the past few days where she just sat in the medicine cat den looked dull and depressed, unable to speak to any cat about what happened. This Silverpaw, though, was so excited she couldn't wait at all. She dropped down and rolled in the dirt of the camp floor as another strong wind puff blew her over again, but she immediately scrambled up and didn't lose hope.

- Watch my moves! - - Read my mind! - - - "Hear my voice!"
WillowMist let out a quiet mrrrrrow of laughter at the sudden enthusiasm the young she-cat had. "Well, I don't know SilverPaw, I don't think FrostBite would be very happy with me for taking you out without saying something first. I guess if you promise not to tell FrostBite i could, I don't think it will hurt anything, But then again i think FrostBite wanted you to stay here for a while longer." She replied flicking her tail over the silver apprentices ear. "Ok fine, We can but you can't tell frostbite, I like my fur on my body and i don't fancy having it ripped off" She meowed getting to her paws and slowly making her way towards the camp entrance making sure that SilverPaw was following her. WillowMist wasn't very good at following rules, But she wanted what was best for the apprentice and didn't want her to get hurt, Maybe they would meet that loner friend of Silverpaw's, He didn't sound like that bad of a cat, Not like he was dangerous but she would be cautious anyway.
- Watch my moves! - - Read my mind! - - - "Hear my voice!" "Yay!" Silverpaw was up on her feet and at the tunnel before Willowmist could move. Sniffing the air to make sure she was close by, Silverpaw dashed out into the territory, and immediately stopped to listen for sounds. A scuffling noise caught her attention, and she dropped into a crouch. Judging the distance by the strnegth of the vole's smell, Silverpaw pounced, and for one terrifying moment, Silverpaw was gliding through air with her claws outstretched. Her claws found their target, however, and she felt the cold ground under her paws as her claws sank into warm flesh. She triumphantly waved her tail, and made her way back to Willowmist. She was almost to Willowmist when a familiar, light body crashed into her. 'Kurogane!" she cried happily. Kurogane just purred, "How ya been doin' Silverpaw? I didn't see you at the island last night." Silverpaw answered, 'I couldn't go. I was hurt." Kurogane then seemed to notice her eyes, for he didn't mention it anymore. Instead, he sniffed loudly in the air and mewed, "Silverpaw, do you have someone else with you?" "It's okay, Willowmist is a friend. Let's see if we can find her." She gathered up her mouse and led Kurogane on towards Willowmist until she reached her. "Willowmist, this is Kurogane!" Silverpaw mewed happily. Kurogane stayed behind Silverpaw but mewed, "It's nice to meet you, Willowmist." His whiskers brushed her tail as he dipped his head in a friendly manner. He stretched, then mewed, "I'd better be finding my way back to the forest. Marlowe(a cat I plan to make later) won't like it that I've been away for so long. Bye, Silverpaw! See you around sometime!" In an instant, he was gone. Silverpaw mewed, "Isn't he such a friendly cat? I met him a few days before my accident." The friendliness between Kurogane and Silverpaw showed in her voice.
